Horray- today is a great day to have this post because it is a special clothing day! It is “Spirit Day.” Today, to pay homage to and raise awareness for the recent tragic deaths of gay youths in the US due to bullying, we all wore purple. I was touched and delighted to see how many people I know participated in this “event”. Pictures on the face book were changed to people wearing purple or were tinted purple. I chose the former.
So, the total sum of what I wore today: Dionysus brand goat’s milk lotion in lilac, black and purple striped Victoria Secret french cut lace undies, a black Victoria Secret biofit bra, a purple Jones New York 3/4 sleeve dress, black knee-high boots, a black pashamina scarf, my silver swirl ring from Downtown Disney, purple sephora eye shadow, l’oreal mascara and plumb sephora lip gloss.
I got a nice compliment from the seamstress that is doing the alterations on Domenica’s bridal gown- she said that I look beautiful in purple. I almost said, no, I’m just clean today, but I thought better of myself and took the compliment.
I suppose this is going to be a short one, because there really isn’t all that much I can do to elaborate on what I wore today.
Oh yes, right now I am sporting a turquoise tank top and orange and coral boy-short cut Victoria Secret underwear that has “I <3 Boys” on the butt. It’s true.
